Team 6-3 PBIS Movie Reward Parent Letter- Must be Signed by Thursday 3/3!!!

Team 6-3

PBIS- February Reward!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to implement a new reward system for our students at Julian using the PBIS Bee Tickets. Now, instead of turning in Bee Tickets for the weekly school-wide raffle our students can save their tickets each month for a reward on team! Every month our team will determine the reward students can earn, when it will happen, and the number of tickets needed to "buy" into the event.

For the month of February Team 6-3 students can watch a reward movie if they earn FIVE Bee Tickets. We will have three movies showing on team so students can choose the movie that most meets their interests! Your child signed up for the movie with checked box below. If your child does not earn the necessary 5 Bee Tickets to watch the movie they will have a study hall during the time instead of watching the movie.

  • Summary of The Sandlot: Scotty Smalls moves to a new neighborhood with his mom and stepdad, and wants to learn to play baseball. The neighborhood baseball guru Rodriquez takes Smalls under his wing, and soon he's part of the local baseball buddies. They fall into adventures involving baseball, tree house sleep-ins, the snooty rival ball team, and the travelling fair. Beyond the fence at the back of the sandlot menaces a legendary ball-eating dog called The Beast, and the kids inevitably must deal with him. (The film is rated PG).
  • Summary of Toy Story 3: The toys are mistakenly delivered to a day-care center instead of the attic right before Andy leaves for college, and it's up to Woody to convince the other toys that they weren't abandoned and to return home. (The film is rated G).
  • Summary of Napoleon Dynamite A listless and alienated teenager decides to help his new friend win the class presidency in their small western high school, while he must deal with his bizarre family life back home. (This film is rated PG)

Please sign below indicating you approve of your child watching one of these films during the afternoon classes on Thursday, March 3.  If you do not want your child to watch the movie we will provide them with an alternate educational activity to complete; if there is a particular movie above you do not want your child to watch please indicate that as well.  As always, contact us with any questions.

Sincerely,

Team 6-3 Teachers
