Rdg/LA Syllabus: Week of December 3

Important Information:
o Report cards will be given to students on Dec. 7th. Be sure to return the signed envelope on Monday, December 10. Each student with this will receive a Jayhawk Signature!
o Our fourth reading Log is due on Wednesday, January 9.
o I will be offering a differentiation opportunity, only to selected students who have exhibited the ability to work independently and produce outstanding products. They will be required to complete Where the Red Fern Grows by Monday, December 10th and pass our Red Fern comprehension test, with a 90% or higher. Students are still expected to complete the vocabulary and odd questions in the blue packet but it will not be due until December 17th.
o Our advisories have adopted a family in order to provide holiday gifts for families or senior citizen. Students are encouraged to contribute money to purchase the items for our family. This week you will receive information from your child’s advisory teacher.
o The student Council is requesting gently used books for their Book Drive; it ends on 12/20.
