Adopt a Family Letter: Ms. Koplin and Ms. Priebe’s Advisory

                                            November 15, 2010

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Julian Middle School once again has joined the townships Adopt a Family program. This year, more than ever, we need everyone's help; the numbers are very high and the volunteer helpers are fewer. Many of our adult adoptees are senior citizens or disabled and on a very small income.

Ms. Koplin and Ms. Priebe's advisory have adopted a mom and her two sons (ages 2 and 10). The family we adopted asked for several items. As an advisory we decided that we will bring in money to donate for the gift cards and/or pick out an item below to buy. As you are out shopping this season please be on the lookout for good deals and bargains on the items for our family listed below.

We need to have all money or items to school by Thursday, December 2. We do ask that each student in our advisory classes contribute something to this community service project. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you in advance for helping to make one family's holiday a little bit nicer.

Sincerely,

Ms. Koplin and Ms. Priebe
