Math Syllabus: Week of October 5

1st and 3rd Period Math
Important Information:
• Students started on a scale drawing project last week. The students will need to work on this project at home and they will need adult help to complete the measurements. The draft of the project with all measurements is due on Tuesday October 6. The FINAL draft is due on Wednesday, October 14. Please be sure to see the rubric for all expectations for the final project!
• The Chapter 2 Test will be on Tuesday, October 20.

Homework: Finish Scale Drawing Draft. Must have measurements labeled in centimeters for each item and everything should be labeled. Due tomorrow!

Homework: Work on converting all of your actual measurements to the drawing scale. You should do this in an organized list.

Homework: Workbook Page 27. WORK ON YOUR SCALE DRAWING PROJECT. We are having a work day in class tomorrow- be sure you have you scale drawing project “stuff” so you can use this class time productively!

Scale Drawing WORK DAY

Homework: Have a WONDERFUL THREE-DAY weekend! Work on your Scale Drawing Project! The FINAL draft is due on Wednesday, October 14. Be sure you follow the requirements on the rubric!!! Remember- this is not a project that can be completed in one night- don’t wait until the last minute!
