Rdg/LA Syllabus: Week of February 11

THE CAY

Important Information:
• Students will take a comprehension and vocabulary test on the Cay novel on Friday Feb 15.
• Students will receive their rough draft back by Wednesday. The final persuasive draft is due by Tuesday, February 19. It must be typed and double-spaced. Be sure to see guidelines given to students last week.
• Our next reading log is due on Tuesday, March 11.
• We will not have a party on Valentine’s Day. Students wishing to hand out cards should do it during lunchtime.

Homework: Finish making corrections to essay- final draft is due tomorrow. You must attach your pre-writing, draft, and peer edit to the final essay. Study for test.
