Rdg/LA Syllabus: Week of February 18

Important Information:
• Students received their edited rough draft last Wednesday. The final persuasive draft is due on Tuesday, February 19. The final draft must have the edited draft and pre-writing sheets attached. It must be typed and double-spaced.
• A letter about our Author Study Unit was sent home with students Friday, February 15. Please be sure to view and sign the Author Study contract, which is due on Wednesday, February 20. All other due dates are listed on the Author Study Letter and will be announced as they arrive on the syllabus.
• Our next reading log is due on Tuesday, March 11.

My auther is Peter dickons and I had some info on him but then i saw i was looking at charles dicon so then i tried to fined more stuff on him and couldn't so I was wondering if i could swich authers to Cornelia funke. i got 2 of her books for chrismas and never got around to reading them. the books are dragon rider(523 pages)and the thief lord(345 pages). I was hoping it would be o.k and my parnts have agreed to this.
